FRIDAY
What
I enjoy working one-on-one with people, and hosting “First Fridays” art gallery openings in my shared studio/gallery. It’s a great opportunity to not only meet me, but also fellow art lovers. First Friday offers a casual, fun atmosphere for the whole family. Tour the neighboring galleries, check out the local action, and stop by to see me and the four other artists in my studio. We present our latest projects in progress and works for sale. Come see us!
Where
M y shared studio/gallery is at Studio Above. We close from time to time however, are typically open the First Friday of the month, from 6pm-8pm.
Studio Above is my shared studio located above the Leedy Voulkos Art Center at 2016 Baltimore Ave. Kansas City, Missouri 64108. We are on the second floor. Enter through the 2016 entrance by the flower shop, The Cottage Rose, and head up the stairs. Street parking is limited, so park at nearby restaurant after grabbing a bite to eat. It’s a short distance from Lidia’s or Jack Stack Barbeque. Or take the streetcar to Main and 19th, and walk over.

MINDFUL PAINTING AND AN OPEN HEART
Noelle Stoffel is as lovely as she is talented. I have several of her pieces in my home that are magnificent. I even commissioned her to paint an abstract for me above the mantle. She listened to what it was I wanted and created the perfect painting for that spot. I just need a bigger house so I can have more Noelle Stoffel artwork!
Noelle is such a delightful artist to partner with because she brings a wealth of original ideas to the table, but is an excellent listener, really working hard to understand her client’s personality, goals and style. Noelle brought some really fun ideas to the table while working on our piece, and showed us mock-ups so that we didn’t have to get very far down the road before committing to something we hadn’t yet seen. Noelle cares about so much more than painting a piece – she truly wants to know her clients and every time I see my painting in my home, I am reminded of what a gem she is, and how positive the experience of creating together was.
